DevOps Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize modern DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines for on-prem environments.
• Develop automation software for every stage of the development cycle, including build, test, release, and deployment.
• Integrate automated security and compliance controls into the pipeline using DevSecOps principles.
• Create telemetry and dashboards to monitor infrastructure and application health.
• Collaborate with SRE and platform engineers to develop and drive an effective DevOps strategy.
• Maintain and support application environments while tracking and reporting on SRE metrics.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing and supporting CI/CD systems as part of SRE or DevOps teams.
• Proficiency in Python and Ansible (or equivalent automation tools).
• Expertise with git commands, branching strategies, and developer workflows.
• Experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and strong RedHat Linux administration skills.
• Must be based in the US; the company does not offer immigration sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate Certification or equivalent.
• Professional experience within the financial services industry.
• Working knowledge of the Secure Software Development Framework (SSDF).
• Experience with Github Actions, Teamcity, CodeDeploy, or Octopus.
