What you will do

• Port, build, and debug AOSP and its derivatives for virtual Android devices.
• Implement and debug custom peripherals, drivers, and Android HALs.
• Tune firmware for optimal resource utilization, performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.
• Architect new code, write unit tests, and perform code reviews.
• Collaborate with hardware modeling, verification teams, and stakeholders to ensure full test coverage and defect resolution.
• Maintain automated test environments, regression tests, and provide inputs to documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Deep understanding of Android architecture, system frameworks, HAL, and services
• Experience with AOSP syncing, building, debugging, and modifying
• Proficiency in Java, C++, C, and scripting (shell, Python)
• Experience with Git, Android debugging tools, audio/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth frameworks, CTS, BSPs, Linux device drivers, SELinux, and Frida
• Understanding of microprocessor fundamentals, electronics, algorithms, and design patterns
