What you will do

• Implement custom services, applications, and device management features for video collaboration hardware.
• Develop unique features to differentiate the product in the competitive peripherals market.
• Ensure the highest quality, performance, and security of the product software.
• Debug across system layers, from kernel and HALs to application frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex technical issues into actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with C++ and strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• 5+ years of experience in Android platform development (AOSP or vendor builds).
• Deep knowledge of Android internals, including system services, Binder IPC, SELinux, and the init system.
• Proficiency in C, Java, and Kotlin.
• Experience with debugging tools like logcat, systrace, perfetto, gdb, and Wireshark.
• English: Upper-intermediate (B2) level required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Android platform build systems and Gerrit/GitHub workflows.
• Experience with HDMI/CEC or USB debugging.
• Knowledge of enterprise device provisioning (Intune, SCEP, certificates).
• WebRTC troubleshooting skills.
