Location: Hybrid (San Diego) — Must be based in or able to commute to the San Diego office (onsite Tuesday through Thursday).

Salary: $94,000+ per year (on-target earnings)

What you will do

• Review applications and supporting documentation to ensure total completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with homeowners and third-party vendors to obtain missing or incomplete documentation.
• Order and analyze critical reports, including title reports, valuations, and credit reports.
• Prepare clean files for underwriter review and proactively drive conditioned items through to closing.
• Manage a high-volume pipeline of homeowners in various stages of the approval and funding process.
• Meet and exceed established production goals and Key Performance Metrics.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in loan processing.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the San Diego office for in-person work Tue-Thu.
• Experience using robust CRMs such as Salesforce.
• Strong verbal and written customer service skills for high-volume client contact.
• Ability to independently problem-solve, prioritize workloads, and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and with empathy.

• Familiarity with home equity investments (HEI).
