Sr. Commercial Loan Processor

Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $70,304–$90,000 per year, plus eligible annual discretionary cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 12.5% each.

What you will do

• Organize, review, and maintain due diligence materials across PREF, CRESL, and RELF lending pipelines.
• Upload collateral documents and manage files in Salesforce and nCino, ensuring materials are complete, accurate, and ready for underwriting or closing review.
• Order and track appraisals, environmental reports, flood certifications, insurance reviews, OFAC/BSA checks, and other third-party compliance items.
• Follow up with vendors and resolve issues such as false OFAC hits, missing entity documents, and foreign guarantor triggers.
• Prepare funding and closing deliverables, including boarding packages, checklists, and required uploads.
• Coordinate invoices, support post-close escrow reconciliation, asset pledge memos, loan modifications, portfolio reviews, collateral audits, and process improvements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and interpret a high volume of documents across multiple property types and loan structures.
• Experience in construction lending, commercial real estate, loan processing, or operations is highly preferred.
• Ability to work across teams with different workflows and adapt to changing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; familiarity with Salesforce, nCino, or similar systems is a plus.
