Intern (Mechanical Engineering)

What you will do

• Design fixtures for assembly, metrology, and manufacturing using SolidWorks.
• Machine and modify fixtures and parts using milling machines, lathes, saws, and 3D printers.
• Troubleshoot and analyze assembly, metrology, R&D, and manufacturing issues, including ECR/ECO and quality defects.
• Optimize and improve manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Create technical documentation, including assembly build procedures and in-process inspections.
• Manage and upload technical documents to the company Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a full-time academic program majoring in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without needing sponsorship.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes (milling, turning, surface grinding).
• Hands-on experience with manual or CNC machining tools.
• Proficiency in CAD software, specifically SolidWorks.
