Salary: $150,000 – $260,000 USD

What you will do

• Build and launch products and features for a global customer base within a dynamic, high-growth team.
• Take ownership of multiple projects across various product and platform teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mobile and frontend engineers to develop product lines.
• Architect scalable systems and design latency-sensitive applications for global Intercom deployments.
• Design complex systems with simple and robust backend APIs.
• Own backend systems end-to-end, from initial product idea to completion.

Requirements

• 4+ years of industry backend software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience at a rapidly growing startup or innovative company.
• Demonstrated expertise in Python or GoLang.
• Deep expertise with relational databases (Postgres preferred).
• Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week in San Mateo, CA.
• BS or graduate degree in Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, or Science.
