What you will do

• Own the design and development of critical system software components for Aurora database services.
• Architect and implement highly scalable distributed systems providing availability and performance guarantees.
• Drive the architecture and implementation of high-performance, fault-tolerant database services.
• Lead cross-organizational projects and mentor other software engineers.
• Enhance developer experience and create intelligent tools to improve Aurora's performance.

Requirements

• Professional experience in software development (non-internship).
• Proficiency in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
• Proven track record in leading the architecture and design of scalable and reliable systems.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Dublin, Ireland.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
