Location: Hybrid (Candidates must reside within 45 miles of a hirify.global office or the specified location, which includes Dublin, Ireland).

What you will do

• Design and build scalable, reliable, and maintainable shared platform components.
• Architect distributed microservices and event-driven systems for enterprise workloads.
• Own critical backend services from conception through deployment, ensuring quality and performance.
• Collaborate with product engineers, DevOps, and architects to define platform capabilities.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical initiatives.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for backend development.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend development.
• Deep proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP preferred).
• Proven track record designing and implementing microservices architectures and event-driven systems at scale.
• Experience building enterprise SaaS applications for high-volume, multi-tenant environments.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in Enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain.
• Hands-on expertise with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar message brokers.
• Knowledge of ElasticSearch or other distributed search/analytics platforms.
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Background in API design and governance.
