TL;DR

What you will do

  • Research, design, and develop optimal manufacturing processes using LEAN principles.
  • Manage large capital projects, including equipment installation and capital requests.
  • Conduct time studies and maintain standard work and SOPs for production cells.
  • Resolve complex quality issues, including field complaints and warranty investigations.
  • Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for product improvements.
  • Collaborate with Procurement on make/buy analysis and order necessary tooling and fixtures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required (Master’s preferred).
  • Five to nine years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication, machining, and high-mix/volume manufacturing methods.
  • Demonstrated experience leading project teams and mentoring others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (AutoCAD and SolidWorks preferred).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • PMP Certification.
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Advanced experience with Kaizen events and Value Stream Mapping.
