What you will do

• Develop and maintain metrology programs for GOM Scanbox, optical systems, and CMMs.
• Perform dimensional inspections to verify parts against CAD and engineering specifications.
• Interpret 2D drawings, 3D models, and GD&T requirements.
• Prepare and validate First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Mentor technicians on workflow standards and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve non-conformances.

Requirements

• Must be able to lawfully access information subject to US export controls.
• Experience with optical systems (e.g., Scanbox, Hexagon laser scanning).
• Proficiency in interpreting GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Background in aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Machining shop experience.
