TL;DR

Senior Product Manager, Mobile Growth and Engagement: Define and lead the strategy for GM’s flagship mobile applications, owning the end-to-end growth funnel from acquisition to monetization with an accent on data-driven experiments and customer lifetime value. Focus on optimizing in-app experiences, creating growth loops, and partnering cross-functionally to boost retention, engagement, and business outcomes.

Location: Hybrid in Austin, Texas; Mountain View, California; or Warren, Michigan – expected to report to office at least 3 times a week. No immigration sponsorship (H1-B, OPT, etc.). Travel <25%. May be eligible for relocation benefits.

Salary: $125,200 - $192,700 (base, varies by location and factors). Bonus potential based on performance.

What you will do

  • Own the long-term growth roadmap and KPIs for mobile apps, driving acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through experimentation lifecycle from hypothesis to implementation for conversion and retention gains.
  • Analyze user behavior, funnels, and cohorts to identify friction and inform product decisions.
  • Partner with Design and Engineering on onboarding, referral loops, in-app messaging, and personalized journeys.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Data Science on ASO, organic acquisition, and lowering CAC.
  • Define metrics, build dashboards, communicate insights to leadership, and stay ahead of mobile trends.

Requirements

  • 5+ years digital/software product management, 3+ years in growth/lifecycle/mobile apps.
  • Proven end-to-end product development and experimentation driving business impact (retention, LTV).
  • Expertise in growth analytics, funnel optimization, A/B testing.
  • Analytical tools: Adobe, Mixpanel, Firebase, SQL or equivalent.
  • Deep knowledge of iOS/Android ecosystems, user acquisition, onboarding UX, lifecycle marketing.
  • Strong communication to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience in consumer apps, e-commerce, loyalty/subscription growth.
  • ASO tools, growth platforms (LaunchDarkly, Optimizely), attribution (Branch, AppsFlyer).
  • Global/multi-market launches, localization.
  • Track record in high-scale consumer apps.
