Salary: $170,000 - $210,000

What you will do

• Partner with R&D stakeholders to identify patentable innovations and develop mature invention disclosures.
• Lead third-party patent portfolio analysis, freedom-to-operate, and clearance reviews.
• Provide support to litigation matters through detailed claims analysis.
• Manage the daily operation of the trademark portfolio, including filings, renewals, and enforcement.
• Develop and implement internal IP policies, workflows, and trainings to improve IP identification and protection.
• Build scalable operational processes for portfolio management and maintain internal docketing systems.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school, USPTO patent attorney registration, and active membership in a U.S. state bar.
• 6+ years of experience in patent law and IP counseling, ideally with both law firm and in-house experience.
• Technical background in electrical engineering, signal processing, or optics.
• Experience in patent landscape analysis and coordinating with outside counsel on clearance reviews.
• Ability to translate complex IP concepts into practical guidance for cross-functional teams.
• Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks.
