What you will do

• Serve as thought partner to Head of R&D, shaping priorities, representing leadership in cross-functional forums, and surfacing process improvements.
• Own R&D operational cadence including leadership meetings, OKR tracking, planning cycles, and roadmap reviews.
• Connect R&D with Finance, People Ops, GTM, and other functions to ensure alignment and clear communication of priorities.
• Maintain dashboards on key metrics like engineering velocity, product delivery, headcount, and provide actionable insights.
• Lead strategic programs and special projects such as org design, M&A support, and capability buildouts.
• Draft communications, prepare leadership for meetings, and champion talent strategies and culture initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years in strategy, operations, management consulting, or Chief of Staff/Senior Program Management in high-growth SaaS/tech.
• At least 3 years in Chief of Staff, Senior Program Manager, or equivalent with VP-level+ leadership.
• Deep understanding of R&D orgs, product lifecycle, engineering structures, roadmap-resourcing-outcomes links.
• Strong analytical/financial skills to model, read P&L, and drive data-based decisions.
• Exceptional communication/executive presence for diverse audiences from CTO to ICs and board.
• Pragmatic drive, operational skills, high EQ, comfort with ambiguity in fast-paced settings.

Nice to have

• B2B SaaS experience.
• Familiarity with Agile, PMP, CSM methodologies.
• Bachelor's in Engineering, CS, Business or related; MBA preferred.
