What you will do

  • Meet or exceed annual financial goals and revenue growth targets for Infectious Disease and Genetics product lines.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans for key accounts and key opinion leaders at the executive level.
  • Lead the full sales lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and qualifying leads to closing complex negotiations.
  • Conduct workflow analysis and present financial justifications to create customer value and commitment.
  • Collaborate with Molecular Applications Specialists and Scientific Affairs to grow reagent sales and implement new instruments.
  • Manage territory data, forecasting, and account profiling using Salesforce.com.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S. preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare-related field (diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or consulting).
  • 3-5 years of combined experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the Molecular Diagnostics domain.
  • Proven track record of building relationships with key opinion leaders in the industry.
  • Strong negotiation, strategic thinking, and capital equipment sales skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% within the assigned territory.
