What you will do

• Review software license, hardware, and services contracts and determine appropriate revenue accounting using ASC 606 and ASC 842, aligned with internal revenue recognition policies.
• Prepare contract memos covering key arrangement components and the five steps required for revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Produce recurring and ad hoc analytical reports for revenue-related accounts.
• Support quarterly reviews and annual audits with internal and external auditors, including SOX 404 requirements.
• Execute quarter-end close activities: post journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and process daily revenue transactions in the financial system.
• Contribute to or drive special projects as needed.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of industry and/or public accounting experience (Big 4).
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and related guidance.
• BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong analytical/critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• High degree of ethics and meticulous attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Experience with SAP.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 842.
• Ability and desire to use AI and other tools to improve processes.
