What you will do

• Lead and execute the month-end revenue and royalties close process in coordination with internal teams and advisors.
• Own technical revenue accounting policies and ensure compliance with ASC 606.
• Review complex balance sheet reconciliations, including deferred revenue and accrued royalties.
• Manage audit support by developing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Drive process automation using Excel, Power Query, AI tools, and BI tools to enhance data accuracy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FinOps, Supply Chain, and Engineering to optimize ERP and business systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 4+ years of people management.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, specifically ASC 606 and ASC 340-40.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills for reconciling large data sets.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite/ARM preferred) and tools like Blackline or FloQast.
• Experience with royalty contracts within the consumer media, entertainment, or gaming industries.
• Must be based in the USA (Bay Area and/or PST time zone preferred).
