Corporate Controller

TL;DR

Corporate Controller (SaaS): Drive efficient month-end close, global financial consolidation, and compliance with U.S. GAAP including complex revenue recognition (ASC 606) across multi-entity structures with an accent on scalable processes, internal controls, and international operations. Focus on leading audit processes, optimizing ERP systems, developing a global accounting team, and supporting strategic initiatives like M&A.

Location: Hybrid at headquarters in Redmond, Washington. Must be a local candidate available to work in the office 2-3 days per week.

Salary: $180,000 - $210,000 annual starting (band $175,000 - $235,000) + bonus.

What you will do

• Drive scalable month-end close process with continuous improvements in timelines and accuracy.
• Partner with CFO on financial reporting and strategic decision-making.
• Oversee U.S. GAAP compliance, revenue recognition (ASC 606), global consolidation, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Lead audits, internal controls design, and process/system enhancements in ERP.
• Manage global accounting team of 6 and third-party providers in APAC (Taiwan, China, Japan).
• Support tax compliance, transfer pricing, and strategic initiatives like M&A.

Requirements

• 10+ years as financial administrator, including 5+ years as Corporate Controller.
• Experience in SaaS/technology with recurring revenue models; global, multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
• Proven leadership in coaching high-performing teams.
• Strong process scaling, project management, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
