What you will do

• Develop technical excellence and leadership in a high-performing engineering team.
• Foster AI-assisted software development including code agents, AI code review, and automated tooling, contributing to org-wide AI-SDLC standards.
• Scale and extend core job orchestration engine using VM and Kubernetes compute across multiple public clouds.
• Maintain high operational standards with incident response, SLOs, and toil reduction.
• Drive alignment across Engineering, Product, Design, Support, Solutions, and Sales on delivery and architecture.

Requirements

• 3+ years managing high-performing software engineering teams of 3–10 people, including senior/staff ICs.
• Technically proficient at Senior Engineer level with depth in scalable distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in SDLC and driving sustainable team AI adoption.
• Production experience with major cloud (AWS or Azure) at scale and managed Kubernetes (EKS, AKS).
• Led multi-quarter architectural changes with quantifiable impact.
• Experience managing SaaS backend with on-call, incident command, and SLO discipline.
