Location: Hybrid in Munich, Germany (60% office time required, 40% remote)

What you will do

• Define and execute commercial category strategy, translate into actionable plans, and drive performance through KPI management.
• Lead go-to-market, pricing, and promotion strategies across DACH, including experiments and campaign roadmaps.
• Own onsite commercial merchandising strategy to optimize customer discovery, traffic, conversion, and growth.
• Grow portfolio focusing on Own Brands acquisition, migration, and retention.
• Lead and develop a small team, steer cross-functional squad for outcomes in CRM, marketing, vendor management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail, FMCG, or e-commerce with category ownership (pet sector a plus).
• Track record leading small team while owning category strategy and results.
• Strong commercial acumen, hands-on data-driven analytical mindset.
• Understanding of business functions (marketing, pricing, vendor, operations) and stakeholder management.
• Deep knowledge of DACH customer needs and market dynamics.
• Languages: min. B1 German and strong English.
