What you will do

• Provide high-quality financial insight and reports on historical and forecast performance to external stakeholders.
• Support shareholder and corporate finance activities, including financing and capital structure.
• Lead the preparation of due diligence and materials for corporate activity, assessing financial performance, risk, and governance.
• Develop core financial and strategic analysis, including key metrics, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
• Review and constructively challenge budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans to ensure robustness.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant or strong corporate finance/commercial finance background.
• Experience in complex financial analysis and reporting.
• Ability to discuss performance, forecasts, and accounting judgements with senior stakeholders and third parties.
• Strong analytical and technical capability with excellent attention to detail.
• Track record of delivering insight-led analysis for Exec and Board-level decisions.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid model in Liverpool, UK.
