What you will do

• Build and own a production-parity developer sandbox to enable external developers to integrate and test effectively.
• Develop and maintain the MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for AI assistants and agentic tools.
• Audit and improve external APIs, focusing on naming, consistency, and error handling.
• Create SDKs, code samples, and comprehensive integration guides to reduce integration friction.
• Act as the voice of the external developer, triaging pain points and influencing internal API design.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in backend development and API design (REST, webhooks, auth patterns).
• Proven track record of building developer-facing tooling such as SDKs or sandbox environments.
• Ability to write production code and take full ownership of the entire software lifecycle.
• Strong technical communication skills for writing guides and interacting with external developers.
• Location: Must be based in the UK and able to work from the London or Chester office (Hybrid)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or AI agent integration patterns.
