What you will do

• Maintain and operate on-prem and cloud deployments, ensuring high reliability and rapid troubleshooting.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters for scalable infrastructure.
• Set up and manage monitoring systems using Prometheus and Grafana to proactively detect production issues.
• Develop scripts and automation for deployment, infrastructure management, and CI/CD workflows.
• Plan and execute software updates for internal and customer environments, including testing and validation.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and internal tools.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working in high-pressure production environments.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration, software packaging, and networking fundamentals (DNS, firewalls, proxies).
• Proven experience managing and troubleshooting Kubernetes in production.
• Strong understanding of the CNCF/cloud-native landscape and observability tools.
• Basic scripting skills in Bash or Python and familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Location: Must be based in Europe within the CET ±2hrs timezone.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with virtualization solutions like QEMU/KVM or micro-VMMs (Cloud-Hypervisor, Firecracker).
