Head of Finance & Operations

TL;DR

Head of Finance & Operations (SaaS/Construction): Take end-to-end ownership of finance function including financial modeling, reporting, and SaaS metrics with an accent on fundraising preparation, revenue operations, and operational scaling. Focus on building financial backbone, co-leading financing rounds, and driving compliance and efficiency for high-growth transition.

Location: Berlin (Hybrid, 3+ days/week in office)

Salary: €90,000–110,000 per year + significant equity

What you will do

• Own finance function: financial modeling, reporting, and key business metrics.
• Prepare and co-lead next financing round: investor materials, data room, board reporting.
• Build revenue-operations with GTM team: pipeline accuracy, SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, payback), scenario planning.
• Manage accounting and controlling with external providers for clean closes and cash visibility.
• Drive operational excellence: tooling, vendor management, compliance (ISO27001, TISAX, GDPR).

Requirements

• Fluent in German and English, clear communication with investors and leaders.
• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related.
• 2-4+ years in startup, consulting, or VC with hands-on finance exposure.
• Experience with financial models, forecasts, SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, payback).
• Pragmatic, hands-on, detail-oriented, thrives in ambiguity.
• Strong stakeholder management and tech-savvy for automation.
