What you will do

• Translate ISA and IDW PS requirements into clear, structured audit procedures for tool support.
• Design modernized substantive procedures for areas like IFRS 16, IFRS 15, and risk-oriented data analysis.
• Ensure software design aligns with professional ethics, independence, and confidentiality according to IDW PS 210.
• Structure outputs for clean integration into audit files (IDW PS 450) to withstand internal and external quality reviews.
• Represent the company at professional conferences (IDW, WPK) and contribute to industry publications.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in audit, preferably at a Big 4 or mid-tier firm.
• Proven experience as a Prüfungsleiter with a deep understanding of mandate responsibility and liability risks.
• Expert knowledge of IDW PS, ISA, and HGB standards.
• Native or near-native German and professional English (C1+).
• Must be based in Berlin for on-site work.
