Senior Finance Operations Leader – Accounting (Fintech): Leading and scaling accounting and treasury operations across Taxfix Group’s multi-country business with an accent on close processes, statutory and Group accounting, consolidation, controls, and liquidity management. Focus on developing the Finance Operations team, improving Record-to-Report processes, strengthening audit readiness, and driving pragmatic automation across Germany, Spain, and the UK.
Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid. Work from abroad is available for up to six weeks per year with team alignment.

Group develops tax-filing products that help people submit tax returns and claim refunds through its and Steuerbot brands.
What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop the Finance Operations team across accounting and treasury.
- Own timely and accurate monthly and annual close processes across the Group.
- Oversee statutory and Group accounting, consolidation, financial reporting, and multi-entity accounting across Germany, Spain, and the UK.
- Strengthen financial controls, reconciliations, documentation, audit readiness, and Record-to-Report processes.
- Oversee treasury operations, including cash visibility, liquidity planning, banking relationships, intercompany activities, and cash reconciliations.
- Partner with Finance Systems Transformation on NetSuite improvements, integrations, reporting quality, and automation.
Requirements
- Significant hands-on accounting or controllership experience, including ownership of month-end and year-end close.
- Strong knowledge of HGB and practical experience with statutory financial statements.
- Solid understanding of IFRS, consolidation, and multi-entity Group reporting.
- Operational finance experience across accounting, reporting, treasury, cash management, liquidity planning, and banking processes.
- Experience leading accounting professionals or a small-to-mid-sized Finance Operations team in an international organisation.
- Fluent German and English required.

- Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems.
- Experience improving finance operations through process design, documentation, and automation.
