Structural Project Engineer (Sustainable Design)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; hybrid

Base salary: $85,000–$130,000 per year, plus an annual bonus

What you will do

• Lead structural design projects in collaboration with project architects, designers, and managers.
• Prepare structural documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Research products and construction methods and conduct quality control reviews.
• Lead the construction administration process.
• Provide direction, support, and mentorship to less-experienced team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or architectural engineering.
• 5+ years of experience across all phases of building design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in RAM, RISA, and ETABS.
• Strong technical, structural, code, detailing, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Austin, Texas.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in civil, structural, or architectural engineering.
• Structural Engineering (SE) license.
• Experience with Revit.
