Technical Writer (Engineering)

TL;DR

Technical Writer (Engineering): Creating structured test reports from raw data to present to clients in manufacturing, aerospace, and defense sectors with an accent on accuracy and quality assurance compliance. Focus on translating technical analysis into professional documentation and managing the report delivery lifecycle.

Location: Marietta, GA. Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to ITAR requirements.

What you will do

• Generate technical reports and revisions based on datasheets prepared by lab personnel.
• Ensure the on-time delivery of test reports and Certificates of Compliance (COC) to clients.
• Reference standardized specifications to conduct comparisons of test data.
• Manage administrative tasks including PO creation for outsourced work and sample logistics.
• Coordinate with analytical teams to confirm project queues and established due dates.
• Participate in safety and quality audits as applicable.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, specifically Word and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Must be a U.S. Person to comply with U.S. export controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and willingness to work overtime as needed.
