Location: Grand Prairie, TX. Must be a US Citizen and Resident. Hybrid schedule (1-2 days from home) following an initial onsite period.

Salary: $55 to $61.75/hr

What you will do

• Write, rewrite, and edit technical procedure, user, programming, and service manuals.
• Acquire subject knowledge by interviewing product developers and analyzing technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering illustrations.
• Oversee the preparation and selection of illustrative materials, including drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts.
• Develop Operating Procedures, Acceptance Test procedures, Calibration Procedures, and Installation Procedures.
• Manage document release and support processes using Windchill PLM.
• Maintain and support Configuration Management and Change Control processes for the program.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and Residency required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field.
• 6+ years of technical writing experience in aerospace, defense, or high‑tech environments.
• Proficiency with Windchill PLM, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with ECSS, MIL‑STD, or other aerospace documentation standards.
• Ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear instructions for diverse audiences.
