Location: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite in London)

Salary: £110,000 – £130,000 per annum

hirify.global is recruiting for a major front-office modernisation programme focused on Rates and Credit Fixed Income technology.

What you will do

• Build real-time, high-performance microservices supporting rates and credit trading workflows.
• Design end-to-end full-stack solutions across distributed systems and trading UIs.
• Deliver low-latency event-driven interfaces handling large streaming datasets.
• Partner directly with front-office stakeholders to shape platform evolution.
• Drive engineering best practices across architecture, CI/CD, testing, and code quality.
• Influence the long-term strategy of a major Fixed Income technology modernisation programme.

Requirements

• Strong experience building complex, high-performance Java applications in distributed environments.
• Expertise with modern Java, concurrency, and reactive programming.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, Solace, or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with WebSockets, SSE, reactive UI frameworks, and REST API design.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience deploying services using Kubernetes.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in London (3 days onsite).
