What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional squad in delivering high-quality, scalable software for the Operations team.
• Provide technical direction and architectural input for squad initiatives and system design.
• Mentor engineers through regular 1:1s, career conversations, and technical growth.
• Drive sprint ceremonies including planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to deliver high-impact features.
• Communicate squad progress and align technical work with company OKRs.

Requirements

• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams in a fast-paced, product-led environment.
• Proven ability to balance hands-on coding with coaching, planning, and delivery.
• Experience architecting scalable systems within distributed environments.
• Strong collaborative skills to partner with Product, Design, and other stakeholders.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Richmond, UK.
