What you will do

• Lead technical strategy for GenAI products, aligning with enterprise architecture and business goals.
• Design and implement AI orchestration runtime, including agent workflows, tool invocation, and policy enforcement.
• Build platform capabilities for observability, evaluation, auditability, and cost management in AI workloads.
• Develop core AI services like model orchestration, inference pipelines, and standardized prompts.
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate LLMs into production systems and enable product teams.
• Mentor engineers, ensure compliance/security, champion MLOps, and participate in hiring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years software development, 5+ years strategic leadership.
• Expertise in AI/ML: LLM integration, RAG pipelines, vector databases, prompting strategies.
• Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks (RAGAS, LangSmith) and agent frameworks (LangGraph, similar).
• Hands-on with scalable cloud-native microservices in Java, .NET, Python, or TypeScript.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries (insurance, financial services).
• CQRS, event-driven architecture, Kafka, Terraform/Ansible, cost controls for models.
• Data security, responsible AI, cloud platforms, multi-agent systems, distributed patterns (DDD).
