What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered automation tools, workflows, and integrations to serve business needs.
• Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and data pipelines connecting AI capabilities to enterprise platforms.
• Develop and fine-tune AI models, prompts, and RAG architectures to address operational bottlenecks.
• Embed security principles into the SDLC to ensure compliance with CMMC, NIST SP 800, and DFARS.
• Manage and monitor solutions across cloud and hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Collaborate with the AI Solutions Architect to refine technical designs and ensure feasibility.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and the ability to maintain a Secret Clearance are mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in AI/ML-powered applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Go.
• Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications and using infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Familiarity with secure software development and compliance frameworks (CMMC, NIST, DFARS).

Nice to have

• 5+ years of software engineering experience specifically focused on AI/automation.
• Experience within the defense sector or government contracting.
• Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks and LLM APIs.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and DevSecOps practices.
• Knowledge of ETL pipelines, data warehousing, and streaming architectures.
