What you will do

• Manage day-to-day health & safety for staff and subcontractors, report incidents and near misses.
• Plan, coordinate and manage foremen, subcontractors, and resources including plant, materials and labour.
• Produce method statements, work instructions, risk assessments, and support monthly reporting and project change control.
• Liaise with clients, third parties, stakeholders, and procurement for material requirements.
• Ensure compliance with OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, collect QA documentation.
• Assist Construction Manager in staff competencies, training, cost control and target costs development.

Requirements

• Experience as site engineer or first appointment from linesman background in transmission, distribution, construction or utilities.
• Ability to oversee enabling works, access roads, and People to Work processes including onboarding and inductions.
• Strong health & safety management, incident reporting, and compliance skills.
• Proficiency in resource planning, subcontractor coordination, and stakeholder liaison.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Inverness, Scotland.
