What you will do

• Lead the planning team for a major project with a high-profile client
• Develop detailed, resource and cost-loaded, logic-linked project programmes
• Integrate contractor schedules, regulatory requirements, and align with key milestones
• Provide timely schedule updates reflecting current progress
• Identify and advise on foreseeable execution risks
• Manage all change and compensation events

Requirements

• Degree in a related discipline
• Highly skilled in Primavera P6 planning software
• Minimum 15 years of major project planning experience, including fully integrated logic-linked EPC programmes
• Advanced understanding of WBS & CBS structures and project reporting
• Advanced ability to develop schedules, resource loading, progress and staffing plans
• Excellent understanding of earned value, cost/schedule variance analyses, and what-if scenarios
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills
• Experience of risk management processes

Nice to have

• Experience of transmission projects or construction in heavy civils, highways, rail, utilities, oil & gas, petrochemicals
• Practical experience working under NEC contracts, assessing delay impacts, change events, and claims
• Experience in training and development of others
