Location: Onsite in Hull, UK (HU12 8DS) with hands-on site presence required.

What you will do
- Lead development, maintenance, and governance of the integrated project programme in Primavera P6, including baseline ownership, progress updates, and critical path analysis.
- Operate as site-facing controls lead, integrating live construction progress, short-term planning, and coordination with project teams, subcontractors, and client interfaces.
- Manage NEC4 programme compliance, time impact assessments for changes, early warnings, and compensation events.
- Own project reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and performance analysis against contract milestones and risks.
- Lead risk management, quantitative schedule risk analysis, and integration into programme and reporting.
- Interface with cost, commercial, and procurement teams to align programme status with expenditure, forecasts, and progress measures.
- Drive continuous improvement in controls processes, standards, and digital tools for site performance monitoring.
Requirements
- Significant experience in project controls leadership on major construction, engineering, or industrial projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 to own and interrogate complex schedules.
- Strong understanding of NEC3/NEC4, especially programme acceptance, early warnings, and compensation events (Option B).
- Demonstrable experience in planning, progress measurement, reporting, change management, risk management, and cost/commercial interfaces.
- Experience in petrochemical, process plant, energy, or heavy industrial construction environments highly desirable.
- Degree, HND or equivalent in engineering, construction management, project controls, quantity surveying or related; strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of risk tools, quantitative schedule risk analysis, SAP/ERP, Power BI, or Microsoft reporting tools.
- Relevant professional membership.
