What you will do

• Lead UI/UX design from concept to developer hand-off for iOS/Android apps and audio products.
• Create high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes.
• Conduct moderated/unmoderated user testing to refine designs.
• Ensure compliance with Apple HIG and Google Material Design guidelines.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and engineers; mentor juniors.
• Conduct design reviews, advocate best practices, and stay current on trends.

Requirements

• 8+ years designing consumer iOS/Android apps.
• Proven mobile UI designs for global users.
• Expert in Figma; proficient in ProtoPie, Overflow, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Understanding of typography, color theory, layout, interaction design.
• Experience with user testing; excellent communication for stakeholder presentations.
• Flexibility for office in Carlsbad, CA (hybrid), travel 10%, and varying hours.
