Principle Engineer EMC (Automotive)

What you will do

• Handle EMC RFQ activities including requirement assessments, technical concepts, and cost estimations.
• Lead technical implementation of new EMC test methods and equipment in the lab.
• Mentor and train EMC team and other experts.
• Analyze new EMC standards, assess impact, and drive compliance implementation.
• Create test plans, review tests, and troubleshoot complex issues with the team.
• Align with customers on expectations and support project escalations technically.

Requirements

• Business Fluent in English
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent; advanced degree in EMC preferred
• 10+ years EMC qualification or related experience in Automotive Industry
• In-depth understanding of EMC standards and test methods
• Advanced knowledge of EMC and test solutions
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

• Supervisory experience
• EMC Lab accreditation experience
