What you will do
- Lead RFI and RFQ pursuits in the acoustic systems domain for major global automotive OEMs.
- Execute and oversee sound tuning signatures for critical audio systems for assigned OEMs.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and guidance to the OEM engineering teams.
- Act as the primary expert authority for all acoustic topics within product development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support innovation, platforms, and technology roadmaps.
- Represent the company at international scientific conferences through publishing papers and active participation.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Acoustics, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the audio, automotive, or product development industry.
- Advanced knowledge of transducer design, DSP, audio amplifiers, and psychoacoustics.
- Proven track record of R&D through patents or publications in top-tier journals/conferences.
- Expertise in defining and parametrizing complex automotive products and requirements management.
- Must be willing to travel 50% or more internationally and domestically and possess a valid driver’s license.
