What you will do

• Attend incident scenes to document, collect evidence and interview witnesses.
• Lead investigations into complex fire and explosion cases.
• Liaise with experts from other parties and attend joint examinations.
• Produce detailed, accurate technical reports and provide expert witness evidence.
• Use case management system to track activities per SLA.
• Maintain expertise through training, research and professional development.
• Represent company at marketing events, meetings and conferences; create presentations.

Requirements

• Relevant experience and/or qualifications in fire investigation, fire engineering, forensic science or related field; practical experience essential.
• Strong analytical skills for scientific forensic examination of scenes.
• Excellent communication skills for clear verbal and written presentations.
• Attention to detail, flexibility, ability to work independently with support network.
• Frequent short-notice travel across Ireland/UK; some overseas. Current driving licence required.
