Study Director - Physical Chemical Testing

What you will do

• Act as Study Director or Principal Investigator for assigned GLP physical chemical testing studies.
• Prepare, approve, and implement study plans in coordination with sponsors and ensure compliance with UK GLP regulations and OECD GLP expectations.
• Coordinate study schedules, monitor progress, identify risks, and communicate amendments or issues affecting timelines and study integrity.
• Review raw data, observations, audit responses, study documentation, and final reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate test items, vessels, equipment, technical staff, and study data archiving.
• Provide technical advice to sponsors and internal customers, and support the training and mentoring of technical staff and trainee Study Directors.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry.
• Industry experience using one or more of LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, or HPLC-UV instrumentation.
• Experience overseeing or performing physical chemical testing studies, including study design to GLP standards and working as a Study Director.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, written and verbal communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple changing priorities and keep current with developments in physical chemical testing.
• Availability for an office-based role in Eye, Suffolk, United Kingdom; travel or overtime may be required.
