QC Laboratory Intern

Location: Folkestone, Kent, United Kingdom. The internship starts in June 2027 and requires the right to work in the UK, including a student visa that permits an internship.

What you will do

• Perform analytical testing of raw materials, bulk materials, and finished products using gas chromatography, infra-red analysis, Karl Fischer testing, and viscometers.
• Conduct microbiological analysis of finished products and water samples.
• Inspect and release incoming components against quality standards.
• Check, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and keep the laboratory organized.
• Support customer complaint, production, and quality investigations.
• Assist R&D with stability testing, manage laboratory supplies, and participate in cross-functional project meetings.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate or postgraduate student in a scientific subject.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Curious, inquisitive mindset and a continuous-improvement attitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Right to work in the UK, including an eligible student visa for an internship.
