Senior UX Researcher

TL;DR

Senior UX Researcher (Health Tech): Conduct mixed-methods research to inform digital product experiences for consumer health solutions with an accent on user insights from discovery to evaluation. Focus on developing research plans, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and influencing product and design decisions through clear communication of findings.

Location: Onsite in Shanghai, China. Some international travel required. Conversational proficiency in Mandarin preferred for China market research.

What you will do

• Develop research plans including objectives, screeners, guides, recruiting, and timelines.
• Share findings with product, design, and executive teams to support decisions.
• Recommend methods and tools based on goals and collaborate with Product Managers on prioritization.
• Represent user voice in cross-functional initiatives and build empathy organization-wide.
• Stay current on UX research trends and best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of UX research experience, ideally in health tech or regulated industries
• Portfolio showing past research work and deliverables
• Experience with UserZoom, UserTesting, Qualtrics, Confluence, and Miro
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field
• Comfortable in fast-paced, cross-functional environment; some international travel required
• Conversational proficiency in Mandarin preferred for China market
