What you will do

• Direct, manage, and ensure collaboration among Project Directors and Project Managers in planning, execution, and governance of global projects and portfolios.
• Provide leadership and oversight on clinical programs, interact with sponsors as escalation point, and optimize profitability to meet budget targets.
• Assess and manage resource allocations, select, train, develop, and manage performance of project leadership talent.
• Provide technical support including scope definition, risk identification, mitigation, and escalation to project managers.
• Participate in business development for proposals, budgeting, and bid defenses; manage project inter-dependencies and conduct evaluations for changes.
• Measure KPIs, lead continuous improvement, and manage supervised staff workload with ongoing feedback and coaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in clinical research, including extensive project management and line management.
• Working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and clinical development process.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills; ability to travel domestically and internationally.
