What you will do

• Manage Microsoft ecosystem: Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID with SSO and security controls.
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives: vulnerability remediation, system hardening, Essential Eight, Microsoft Defender, and Sentinel implementation.
• Architect and scale Azure IaaS/PaaS environments, automate with PowerShell, and oversee networks including firewalls and VPNs.
• Handle L3 escalations for servers, identity, networking; support SUSE Linux, monitoring, backups, and SOE standards.
• Deliver upgrades end-to-end with documentation, diagrams, stakeholder collaboration, and team coaching.
• Support ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance through secure configurations and processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years in systems/infrastructure engineering.
• Deep Microsoft expertise: Windows Server 2022, Entra ID (hybrid), Azure, Microsoft 365.
• Advanced PowerShell automation; cybersecurity: patching, hardening, vulnerability remediation.
• Firewall admin (e.g., Sophos), routing/switching, secure remote access; Linux (SUSE) experience.
• End-to-end upgrade delivery with documentation and diagrams; communication and coaching skills.
• Hands-on ASD Essential Eight; ISO 27001/SOC 2 exposure highly regarded.
