What you will do

• Lead AI-enabled technical strategies and solutions for Maritime and Strategic Systems line of business.
• Develop technology roadmaps and align conceptual solutions with customer needs and GDMS capabilities.
• Identify and cultivate innovative AI initiatives, educating business and technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior engineering management to grow AI capabilities and workforce.
• Engage with DoD customers, government labs, and partners to deploy high-reliability systems.
• Oversee IRAD activities and manage technical risks on high-visibility programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in STEM + 10 years as AI architect/data scientist/AI application engineer (Master's + 8 years acceptable)
• Deep learning expertise and leadership experience.
• U.S. citizenship; obtain DoD Top Secret clearance (SAPI/SCI/polygraph desirable)
• AI architect background in DL, data visualization, software development, full ML lifecycle.
• Proficiency in ML/DL frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), Python, Git, DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes), Linux.
• Experience with large datasets (image, cyber, NLP, signal), customer engagement, AI roadmaps.

Nice to have

• Experience vetting AI use cases, validation methods, AWS/Azure AI services.
• Regulatory compliance knowledge for AI deployment.
• Success leading distributed teams, white papers/proposals with AI content.
