What you will do

• Develop high-quality, medically accurate content for patient support services in both print and digital formats.
• Create a variety of resources including patient/caregiver education materials, HCP-facing toolkits, and digital patient experiences.
• Conduct literature reviews and develop annotations to support promotional claims in medical education and marketing resources.
• Translate complex medical and program information into clear, accessible language for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with account teams and participate in medical, legal, and regulatory review meetings.
• Contribute ideas for tactical planning within assigned accounts to align with client strategy.

Requirements

• BA/BS in life sciences or BA/BS in English.
• Minimum 1 year of medical writing experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications company, or healthcare advertising.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Knowledge of American Medical Association (AMA) style.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with scientific search engines such as PubMed and Google Scholar.

Nice to have

• Experience developing content specifically for patient hubs and financial assistance offerings.
• Expertise in summarizing healthcare business and scientific literature for managed care audiences.
• Working knowledge of managed markets, health reform legislation, or experience with HMO, MCO, and PBM.
