Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (subject to skills and experience)

What you will do

• Deliver high-quality teaching across Mathematics modules through lectures, seminars, and tutorials
• Develop and maintain engaging learning materials and online resources
• Set, mark assessments, and provide timely feedback
• Monitor student engagement, attendance, and performance
• Act as Personal Academic Tutor providing academic and pastoral support
• Contribute to quality assurance, programme development, and collaborate on curriculum delivery

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computing)
• Experience in higher education teaching and student engagement
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence using digital tools (e.g., VLEs, MS Teams)
• Proactive, flexible, and student-focused approach

Nice to have

• PhD (or working towards)
• HEA Fellowship (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience in research or scholarly activity
