What you will do

• Own complex test development from concept to release, including DfT, instrumentation strategy, calibration, and qualification.
• Design robust data capture systems and implement first-line ML models for anomaly and fault pattern detection to improve yield.
• Pilot and create adoption guidelines for LLM-assisted tools for searching specs, test logs, and autogenerating test steps.
• Establish and enforce standards for fixtures, software templates, and code quality while mentoring junior engineers.
• Lead cross-functional execution with Design, Software/Hardware, and Operations teams to ensure project milestones are met.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
• Must be based in San Jose, CA, US.
• 3+ years of experience in test engineering, preferably within a manufacturing or NPI environment.
• 2+ years of experience with PCBA and System level Test Process Development and root cause corrective action.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of functional test methodologies, instrumentation, and automation tools.
• Solid understanding of DFM/DFA principles, lean manufacturing, and quality systems.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis tools.
• Strong theoretical background in electronics and electro-mechanical industry processes.
