What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventative and unscheduled corrective maintenance on energy storage products to maintain warranty and availability.
• Troubleshoot system faults and outages, conducting electrical testing and related diagnostics.
• Write and execute HV Switching programs, issue HV Access permits, and monitor permit controls.
• Monitor faults, alarms, and performance of generating units via SCADA, including troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all site work, fault resolutions, and replaced parts in daily reports.
• Collaborate with Site Manager, Operations, Engineering Systems, and HSE teams to ensure site safety and compliance.

Requirements

• Must hold a current Electrical License (A-grade electrician).
• Accreditation in NSW HV Switching is required.
• 3+ years of experience in large-scale Battery Energy Storage (BESS) or energy generation projects.
• Valid Driver’s License, White Card, and LVR/CPR Certification.
• Ability to work at heights, in extreme environments, and perform heavy lifting (at least 20kg).
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work on-site in Uralla, NSW.

Nice to have

• Certifications or training in renewable energy power inverters.
• Basic understanding of programming languages and equipment networking.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 20% of the time.
